Beach Ustronie Morskie
The beautiful Ustron beach is perhaps the biggest attraction of the town, it is especially for it that crowds of tourists flock here.
The summer bathing resort, covering as much as 2,100 meters of coastline, with a wide, sandy and clean beach. It is impossible not to mention that the bathing site in Ustron Morski has been repeatedly awarded the “Blue Flag”, testifying to the quality and purity of the sea water.
Ustron is also not short of a fishing harbor for cutters, equipped with a cable winch.
Walking pier
In Ustronie Morskie there are two walking piers with a length of about 100 meters. One is located in the area of the fishing harbor (extension of Rybacka Street), the other between Ku Morzu ( Sianożęty) and Nadbrzeżna (Ustronie Morskie) streets.
There is one more facility. It is a private pier on the extension of Nadbrzeżna Street – there is a 400-meter terrace and a restaurant.
Walking and cycling routes
People who like to go crazy on a two-wheeler should take their bikes with them. A well-prepared route with a length of 23 kilometers awaits you here. Walking through it, you can get to know most of the most interesting places in the commune and the surrounding area, including the ruins of the Teutonic building, the palace complex, or one of the oldest churches in Pomerania.
The international hiking route E-9 runs through Ustronie Morskie, starting in the city of Brest in France. From the center of the village, you can follow it east to the 19th-century lighthouse in Gąski. This eight-kilometre walk will follow a picturesque promenade along the coast. In turn, traveling west along the same promenade, after 11 kilometers you can reach the beach in Kołobrzeg.
Helios Sports and Recreation Center
When resting in Ustronie Morskie, it is also worth taking advantage of the swimming pool offer. The Helios Sports and Recreation Center is located at Polna Street and includes: an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool, bowling, tennis courts, sports fields, and a gym. In the pool there are:
– 2-track swimming learning zone with a depth of 0.90 m
– 2 air geysers
– 2 water cascades with a wide neck massage spout
– 2 water-air massage stations
– 4-seat bench with hydromassage
– underwater stairs in designated points
– 3 whirlpool tubs for hydromassage
Independently, in this zone there is a water slide (closed tube) with a length of about 45m.
There is also an open swimming pool, the main element of which is a multifunctional swimming pool and a grassy beach with a separate playground for children.
For aviation lovers
Another attraction in the very close vicinity of Ustronie Morskie is the airport in Bagicz, located west of Ustroń. It can be conveniently reached by bicycle path, along the beach, west towards Kołobrzeg.
The airport became the property of the Kołobrzeg and Ustronie Morskie Communes. Today, this place is a seasonal airport where passenger planes landing, taking up to 20 people on board. The Baltic Aeroclub also operates on its premises, which organizes sightseeing flights for tourists. Paragliders are also stationed here, offering flights along the seashore.
Kolobrzeg - only 10 km!
The very location of Ustronie Morskie is incredibly conducive to fans of active recreation. Kołobrzeg, to which a picturesque bicycle path leads, which is a local, urban health resort with three summer sea bathing areas, is only 10 kilometers from Ustronie Morskie. In the picturesque Kołobrzeg we will find a seaport, which also has a tourist function. There are brines, mud deposits and mineral water springs in the town and its vicinity. It should be mentioned that Kołobrzeg treats mainly diseases of the upper respiratory tract, diseases of the circulatory system and diseases of the joints, as well as metabolic disorders. There are three hiking trails in Kołobrzeg. Being in Kołobrzeg, it is also worth visiting the Old Town, especially the port district and the eastern spa area.
